Jake’s Rock Workout – Moving Mountains


Here at SOLID we like to “Walk The Talk” and one of our SOLID team members, Jake, has come up with a unique training regime we have called Jake’s Rock Workout.

He collected ten pebbles and lined them up on the left hand side of his window sill.

He then begins his workout with ten reps each of the following exercises:

  • Diamond push-ups
  • Squats
  • Leg Raises
  • Pull-Ups
  • Planking – one minute
  • Dips

Once Jake has completed all 60 reps, he moves one pebble to the right hand side of the window sill and then begins all over again until he has moved all ten pebbles. How cool is that?

Obviously you can vary the number of reps, exercises or objects to make it fun.

Don’t annoy your Mum by leaving rocks all over the window sills – but if she is keen to see you pick up your fitness show her Jake’s Rock Workout. She might even join you walking the talk.
