Nicolle & Trevor Drake
Entrepreneurs & INVENTORS of the PATENTED Multi-Award Winning SOLID INFINITY SYSTEM
Born from “Accidental Entrepreneurs” and a growing market need for strong, reliable surf & sport storage systems, the SOLID product range continues to grow due to the irrepressible passion of husband & wife founders Trevor and Nicolle Drake.
SOLID RACKS are World leaders in ergonomic and innovative architectural storage and building solutions that are used by World Champion Surfers, Olympians, Sporting Legends, Entrepreneurs and Organisations across the Globe, who enthusiastically endorse their products.
Upon the launch of the very first SOLID Racks product through Quiksilver in September 2007, they listened to their customers and were encouraged to develop a range of storage solutions.
At the beginning of 2008, the team at SOLID RACKS implemented a dedicated SOLID Research & Development division within their manufacturing plant in Sydney, Australia, after being inundated with requests from consumers wanting individual SOLID storage solutions for their homes and retail spaces.
In October 2009 SOLID released an arsenal of 40 radical, storage solutions that stoked the World Surfing Industry and catapulted the SOLID Brand into 37 countries.
In March 2011, SOLID Racks unveiled the much anticipated international patent-pending SOLID INFINITY (storage) SYSTEM.
The end of 2012 marked the beginning of the SOLID INFINITY (GYM) SYSTEM after Christopher Drake told his parents (Trevor & Nicolle) to adapt the system into a multi-functional FITNESS WALL.
In March 2013 Chris lost his life and drowned while selflessly assisting others to safety.... 5 months later in August the SMILE LIKE DRAKE Water Safety Charity was launched by Nicolle and Trevor to continue Chris's work to save lives.
Christopher's living legacy the "SOLID INFINITY SYSTEM" (SIS) was finally launched in 2015 by Trevor & Nicolle who against all odds, were determined to fulfil Chris's dream and make his idea a reality.
Within 12 months, the SOLID INFINITY SYSTEM rapidly generated interest from some of the World's Largest Gymnasiums as well as multi-industry heavy weights who are now clients and converts of SIS Gym.
In 2016 The SOLID INFINITY SYSTEM was recognised for space saving deliverables in Pre-hab and Rehabilitation, thus being installed in Manly Waters Private Hospital, numerous National Physiotherapy practices and the European Tour Performance Institute's Mobile Physiotherapy Unit for the PGA Golf professionals.
In the year 2017, expansion of the SOLID RACKS Brand into new regions and numerous new markets world-wide is on-going.

Trevor, a shipwright by trade and Nicolle an interior & graphic design graduate, married in 1983 and later established Wood Appeal Pty Ltd in 1989.
Wood Appeal Pty Ltd is a multi-award winning custom joinery and Design Company who's clientelle included; Westfield, Pitney Bowes, Gas Nightclub, the Astor Apartments and Orient Hotel in sydney, with their work gracing the cover of Belle Magazine.
SOLID RACKS was founded on Sydney's Northern Beaches when Trevor & Nicolle moved their family to Manly Beach 15 years ago and purchased their son Christopher his first surfboard.
Chris began entering regional surfing competitions acquiring additional specialised surfboards. A lack of space in his small bedroom and continual damage to his precious quiver began the family’s realisation that a storage system was desperately needed.
The very first set of SOLID RACKS were originally designed and manufactured exclusively by Trevor & Nicolle for their beloved son Christopher however, when Chris began competing in the Junior ASP and was sponsored by O'Neill Australia, he gave a set of racks (made up of left-over materials) to CEO Rob Bain as a thank you. Rob and the team at O'Neill Australia were stoked, and so SOLID RACKS was born.
